UNIKA SOLID SURFACE CARE & MAINTENANCE KIT

Solid Surface Care and Maintenance Kit includes everything required to look after a Solid Surface Worktop and keep it looking as good as new. Unlike most other worksurfaces, Solid Surface can be repaired. So minor stains or scratches can usually be removed with relative ease.

The kit includes the following:

  • Installation and Care & Maintenance Guide – Detailed instructions of how to install and care for your solid surface worktop. Note: Follow the Worktop Manufacturer Installation Guidelines in the first instance.
  • Self Adhesive Heat Reflective Foil Sheets x2 – Necessary to stop the heat from cracking the worktop.
  • Heat Reflective Tape Roll – Necessary to stop the heat from cracking the worktop.
  • Abranet Sanding Disc 100, 150 & 220 grit – Use to sand the worktop joint once adhesive has been applied.
  • Fixings Pack (12 brackets / 48 screws & washers) – Fix Solid Surface worktops at intersection with carcass tops. Expansion brackets allow movement of worktop.
  • Alcohol Wipes x2 – Clean the worktop joint before applying adhesive to make sure there are no loose particles in the joint.
  • Solid Surface Worktop Cleaner – Use for everyday cleaning of the work surface and for the final clean after installation.
  • Disposable Gloves – Use when applying adhesive and Solid Surface Repair Cream - always wear rubber gloves when using chemicals.
  • Sanding Foam Pad 180 Grit – Use on severe stains.
  • Abrasive Disc Pad White, Grey and Maroon – Use on minor scratches and stains. Also use to finish the worktop joint after the sand papers have been used.
  • Microfibre Cloth – Use with Solid Surface Worktop Cleaner for everyday cleaning.
  • ColorFill Solid Surface Adhesive – Use colour matched adhesive to create a seamless joint.
  • Cartridge Gun adapter – Use with a regular cartridge gun to dispense the ColorFill Solid Surface Adhesive.
  • Solid Surface Rejuvenate – Use to remove persistent stains, scratches and to generally renovated your worktop if looking scratched and dull.
